What does B-stock mean?
Our B-stock products are technically and sonically soundly intact. They only have minor external defects that do not affect their functionality in any way. These may include light scratches or minimal signs of wear and tear that occurred during the manufacturing process.
Kalimbas are reed instruments that originated in southern Africa and are found there in countless shapes and sizes. Our Kalimba B17 is carefully handcrafted in Germany from solid American cherry. The surfaces are treated with vegetable oils and waxes and polished. The 17 reeds are precisely tuned to the C major scale, allowing you to play a variety of well-known songs. The B17 is also ideal for chordal accompaniment to melodies or for improvisation and intuitive playing.
