What is included
The Sansula Deluxe in A minor with a 432 Hz reference pitch has nine tines and a natural calfskin membrane. A tensioning mechanism allows the membrane to be retensioned.
Pluck the tines with your thumbs or fingers. Their vibrations pass through the wooden body to the membrane. American cherry, European beech and calfskin are the defining materials of this model.
This version comes in the A minor tuning listed below. For ensemble playing, check for compatible notes and the same reference pitch. The natural membrane gives each instrument an individual character; even the robust Deluxe model requires careful handling.
